Tell me more, Tell me more! A thrilling drive-in event that celebrated the release of Grease: Rise of the Pink Ladies in style. In collaboration with the Pedestrian Group, Wavemaker ANZ, and Paramount+, a 50s inspired drive-in experience was brought to life at Skyline Cinema in Blacktown. The event featured a rockabilly band, a dance troupe, delicious diner-style snacks from Frosty Palace, roadside attractions, a shiny pink Cadillac, and even a pug in a Pink Ladies jacket. Attendees had the opportunity to watch the first two episodes of the new series, which is currently airing on Paramount+. Despite not being summer, the event was absolutly electrifying!
I had the pleasure of assiting and designing several assets seen across the event! My work for this event included menu designs, postcards and meal coupons for the Frosty Palace diner that showcased the various snack, food and drink options available, digital holding screens that projected information before, during and after the event, and vinyl decals across the diner window, bathroom mirrors and car displays, which added to the overall aesthetic of the 50s drive-in experience.
