INSTAX Pal Crash Landing

Agency:
McCann Australia

Client:
FujiFilm INSTAX
The launch of the FujiFilm’s INSTAX Pal in Australia marked a significant milestone as it became the first-ever experiential product launch for Instax globally. In the heart of Sydney's CBD, a giant Pal crash-landed in Martin Place, capturing the attention of the public and igniting a buzz of excitement. This mammoth installation not only symbolised the magic of photography but also invited onlookers to immerse themselves in the world of Instax, making small moments feel big.

Attendees were encouraged to interact with the pal, by beeing the first to product test, snapping photos and sharing their experiences on social media platforms. As word spread and images circulated online, the Pal gained traction, reaching over 49 million in earned media. Its larger-than-life presence in Martin Place transformed the ordinary into the extraordinary, illustrating how INSTAX can help amplify the significance of everyday moments.

By the end of the day, the crash landing had not only introduced the INSTAX Pal to the Australian market but had also left an indelible mark globally. The event showcased not just a product, but a lifestyle—a reminder of the power of photography to capture the essence of life and make memories last a lifetime.
